The game glitches a bit on the poison damage but seems to sort itself out. The PJs burn a bit while trying to hold the elemental back. Boogie doesn’t get a reaction due to the casting he’s been doing, and the PJS grab onto the elemental. Boogie throws a swarm at the elemental which bites ‘em up! The fire elemental starts to make his way south in the dungeon room, and ends on top of the Pajamas, Kureno? It’s now on fire. The party all decides to ready actions! He pops up again, Derrick gets a magical shot off, Hops cats Faerie Fire and the elemental glows in green flames. He jumps around from puddle to puddle, hiding in the lava. Onto the fire room! Battle music commences!īig fire elemental. The party discusses the options and thinks maaaybe we do bosses for all the rooms? Interesting. Pops is there in the entry room, with 4 behbehs, and 2 wuffies. Hops got a portal to bring so they can get big things out of the dungeon. Boogie starts swinging around a corner and Hops inspects the door north of the new room. Melody throws insults and Merrick moves near Hops. Hops disengages from the fight and Boogie does a bunch of damage. Attacks continue on the wisps who are resistant to tons of things.
Hops heals herself and Melody starts playing with fire again. Then on the other side they open a West door and a whole bunch of will-o-wisps appear!! They lightning attack various members of the party and the various party members throw damage back. the team navigates through the maze without difficulties. There’s also a button… BOOGERZ DIVES ACROSS THE ROOM TO PRESS THE BUTTON… We hear a sound that seems like a single die in a cup? Then pour out? Then the north door clicks and the door locks in place. Merrick throws down some serious damage and Gobbie stabs at the mound, confusing it thoroughly since it thought Gobbie was also a bush! Eventually they do get the second mound to fall. The mound attacks the pjs while continuing to be insulted and blasted, Melody joins Hops on the side lines. Boogie then starts to talk to the mound, and Evergreen insults the mound and gives it a minor anxiety attack over not having roots anymore. Then the ceiling rumbles and everyone dances and is totally fine despite plant matter reigning down. Melody then skeets by the mound and gets next to Boogerz. Navi also attacks the mound but doesn’t get anywhere. The second one descends on Melody, and she thunderwaves it in the face. The mound fights back! Boogie disengages from the upper mound and joins in beating on the lower one, and Hops starts tossing insults and it falls. Melody successfully casts eldritch blast and pushes the monster out from Hops. Some more attacks are exchanged and a second mound appears in the northern area, inspirations are cast, and Hops casts on herself to get advantage on Constitution saving throws and manages to resist the crushing mound. Merrick goes in across the diffused spores and attacks the mound. She continues trying and it’s not so great.
Melody tries to shoot the mound with an eldritch blast, missing horribly, and igniting a poisonous cloud inflicting the others with poisonous gas.
A huge monster appears right against where Hops just went… The mound gobbles at Hops and she becomes engulfed. Hops is excited and is able to acrobatically avoid the spores and make space for someone else to follow. The area all inside the doorway is saturated with poisonous spores. Now we are all in a small brown room… We open the door. Opening room is Pops, 5 (not 6) behbehs, 2 wuffies, and 4 medium shrooms.
